The occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Harley-Davidson brand was both a milestone and an opportunity. Along with a complete calender of events and celebrations, Harley-Davidson decided to offer a special collectable souvenir of the anniversary to their loyal customers. HD wanted to offer a "gift with purchase" when the customer made a $250.00 purchase. DCI presented a broad array of appropriate premiums for the consideration of Harley-Davidson, with this high quality, waterproof fleece picnic blanket being chosen as the approved product. The blanket program was extremely successful with complete sell-through of the entire inventory in less than two weeks! HD corporate was inundated with requests for additional blankets to meet customer demand. This program has been identified as the single most successful consumer promotion executed by HD to date.
